Air pollution in Delhi-NCR has reached alarming levels. People’s breathing has become difficult due to pollution. Patients with respiratory and lung problems are facing all kinds of problems. Major prevention steps are being taken once the pollution reaches dangerous levels.
The Noida Authority has banned all construction in Noida and all diesel vehicles, except those running in essential services, have been banned. Of these, only diesel vehicles will be exempted whose engine will be of Euro Six. Along with this, the smog tower installed at DND has also been closed due to fault. In view of the air quality index which has reached alarming level, the district administration and the authority have become alert and they have started continuous ban action.
Work on the construction site was banned
In this sequence, work has been banned at all construction sites in Noida. No construction builder or private person will be able to do any kind of construction. Now all types of private and commercial construction sites have been banned in Gautam Buddha Nagar till the Air Quality Index comes to its normal level. No one will be allowed to work. If anyone is found doing work, he will be fined.
Smog tower installed on DND is also bad
Along with this, an order has also been issued that the plying of all vehicles except those running in essential services with diesel engine has been banned. In this, only those vehicles will be exempted which will have Euro Six engine. Along with this, the smog tower installed at DND is also lying closed due to compressor failure. When asked about this, any official has refused to divulge anything at the moment.
