The driver died on the spot after an uncontrolled tractor overturned in Banka. The incident took place on Thursday morning at 8.30 am. According to the information, the tractor overturned uncontrollably near the Junka river under Belhar police station area of Banka, in which the driver died on the spot after being pressed inside the tractor, after which there was chaos at the spot. As soon as the information about the incident was received, the Belhar police reached the spot and seized the tractor.

It is being told that Neeraj Kumar, a resident of Bhojpur village, went to Belhar area to sell sand after excavating sand from the Jhunka river. Returning after selling sand, he was going to pick up sand again from the river bank. In this sequence, the tractor turned uncontrolled near the river, in which Neeraj Kumar got buried inside the tractor. On the spot, after a lot of effort, the local people removed the tractor and pulled out the driver, but by then the driver had died on the spot. During this, with the help of the local people, he was also admitted to the Belhar Community Health Center, where the doctor declared the tractor driver dead on sight. After which the relatives started crying in the hospital premises.

According to the information, it is being told that in order to do illegal sand mining, the driver was crushed to death due to uncontrolled tractor overturning while running fast. At present, the police is engaged in the investigation. Belhar Police Station President Rajesh Kumar said that the tractor has been seized after the accident and the dead body has been taken into custody and sent to Banka for postmortem.
