Truck damaged at Gumti of Samastipur-Muzaffarpur railway section: Long jam, people remained upset till midnight

Dharampur Railway Gumti number 53 of the city of Samastipur-Muzaffarpur railway line got jammed due to a sudden breakdown of a truck on Wednesday night. Due to the jam, apart from Samastipur Pusa Path, there was a long queue of vehicles on Samastipur Tajpur Path also. Due to the jam, the pedestrians had to face difficulties.

Later, when the city police reached the spot, the damaged truck was somehow pulled out of the railway track, after which the traffic was restored. It is a mere coincidence that there was no train on the Samastipur-Muzaffarpur railway section for the next two hours when the night was jammed. Otherwise the train service would also have come to a standstill.

It is worth mentioning that due to the damage of railway Gumti by the drivers on this Gumti of the city, the jam often gets stuck. Due to the jam, the passers-by have to face trouble even the trains are sometimes stuck at the outer signal for hours. Even 2 days ago, due to the breaking of the boom of the railway dump, the passenger train coming from Muzaffarpur to Samastipur was standing at the outer signal for about 2 hours just before the dump.

On the other hand, the city police station president Chandrakant Gauri said that at around 11 o’clock in the night, a truck coming from Pusa on the railway dump suddenly broke down in the middle. After which the traffic was restored by removing it from the railway Gumti.
