Truck crushes bike rider couple on NH-31: On duty home guard jawan killed in accident, wife seriously injured

An on duty home guard jawan died in a road accident on NH 31 in Begusarai. On the other hand, the wife of the deceased Home Guard jawan was seriously injured. The incident took place on Friday evening near Janipur Dhala of Ballia police station area. It is being told that a speeding truck on NH 31 hit a bike-borne Home Guard jawan and his wife. Due to which the Home Guard jawan died on the spot and his wife was seriously injured. The deceased has been identified as Dev Rishi Chaurasia working in Khagaria Police Line. He had come to Begusarai with his wife on Friday for some work. In this sequence, while returning from Begusarai, a speeding truck crushed a bike rider couple near Ballia Janipur Dhala. Due to which Dev Rishi Chaurasia died on the spot in this incident. On the information of this incident, Ballia police station reached the spot and took the dead body in possession and sent it to Begusarai Sadar Hospital for postmortem. On the other hand, a seriously injured woman has been admitted to a private hospital in the city for treatment. Where his condition remains critical. After getting information about the incident, there is chaos among the relatives of the deceased. Knowing about the incident, many members of the Home Guard Association have reached Begusarai Sadar Hospital. Home Guard Union leaders said that the accident happened while returning from Begusarai. Bihar government should give proper compensation to the dependents of the deceased.
