Today there will be no electricity for 7 hours in Giriyak-Pavapuri: pay attention to Nalanda’s electricity consumers, get the necessary work done now

If there is any urgent work related to electricity, get it done before 10 am today as there is going to be a 7-hour power cut in Giriyak and Pawapuri areas today. The work of construction of 132 KV transmission line tower is to be done between Nalanda and Asthawan. Due to which the power supply will be stalled from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm on Saturday.

Chandan Kumar, junior engineer of the Electricity Department said that from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, the power supply will be disrupted in Giriyak and Pawapuri under 33 thousand KV feeder. Along with this, electricity supply will remain suspended in dozens of villages including Niyamat Nagar, Kul Bhadari, Raghuvigaha, Dharhara, which come under 11 KV.

The junior engineer told that after the completion of the work, the power supply would be restored after 5:00 pm. Due to power failure for 7 hours, the population of about two lakhs of dozens of villages will remain bereft of electricity for 7 hours.
