Three-day Vidyapati ceremony begins in Samastipur

In Samastipur, Mahakavi Vidyapati has raised the value of Mithilanchal in the whole world by creating a sense of religious and cultural consciousness through the compositions containing the culmination of devotion. These things were said by the Minister of Finance, Commerce Tax and Parliamentary Affairs, Vijay Kumar Choudhary in the Government of Bihar while inaugurating the Vidyapati Raj Mahotsav. Addressing the inaugural function organized at Vidyapatidham Railway Ground, located on the side of Vidyapatidham Ugna Mahadev Temple, the Finance Minister said that I have been associated with Vidyapati celebrations for the last 40 years.

He especially thanked the poet, Ganesh Giri, President of Vidyapati Parishad. The minister said that Mahakavi Vidyapati was a symbol of social consciousness. He said that there is a need to assimilate the legends, characteristics and compositions of Vighapati ji related to the city of the devotee and God. On this great earth of Vidyapati ji, Bholenath himself erupted and blessed this earth. He blessed this earth by sacrificing his life on the holy land of Vidyapatinagar. He especially thanked Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for giving the status of a state festival. The compositions of Vidyapati ji are related to social life. He was a great poet of cultural consciousness and social unity. The Mahakavi has given the message of establishing unity in the society through Shringar Ras.

Many famous artists have arrived in the three-day festival. On the occasion, Vice-President Maheshwar Hazari, former minister Dr. Madan Mohan Jha, MLC Tarun Kumar, MLA Ranvijay Sahu, ZIP president Khushboo Kumari, former MLA Ramchandra Nishad, District Magistrate Yogendra Singh and SP Hriday Kant, SDO Priyanka Kumari, DSP Dinesh Kumar Pandey, BDO Prakriti Nayanam, CO Ajay Kumar were among others.
