Three criminals caught within 48 hours: UP truck driver was shot during robbery, two automatic pistols recovered

During the late night robbery of 7 October, the criminals killed the truck driver Mohd. Shahzad was shot. He was injured in this. The incident took place in Azimchak area under Gaurichak police station in Patna. While probing the incident, Patna Police has arrested three criminals.

City SP East Pramod Kumar and Patna Sadar ASP Sandeep Singh have claimed to resolve the matter within 48 hours. Police have recovered two automatic pistols and 5 bullets of 7.65 mm from the criminals. Along with this, the black color purse robbed from the driver and the bike used in this incident have also been recovered.

The injured driver Shahzad is a resident of Barhara village of Maharajganj district of Uttar Pradesh. An FIR was registered on 8 October in the Gaurichak police station in connection with the shooting and robbery. While investigating, the criminals arrested by the police team are Sunny Kumar alias Sanki, Kundan Kumar alias Singhania and Monu Kumar. According to the City SP, these criminals were about to rob a vehicle again on the Patna-Gaya road late on Sunday night. But before that the police caught them.

According to the City SP, the arrested Kundan is a resident of Gopalpur’s Sampatchak and a eccentric Shripatpur. Whereas, Monu is a resident of Azimchak of Gaurichak police station. There are already cases of attempt to murder and robbery registered against Kundan and Monu in Gaurichak police station. At the same time, a case of murder is registered against the freak in Gopalpur police station. All the three criminals have already gone to jail for different crimes.
