Cow smuggler has been arrested.
The Qutubsher police of Uttar Pradesh’s Saharanpur district have arrested three cow smugglers. There was an encounter between the police and the smugglers. After this, the administration arrested three cow smugglers and seized their Santro car.
Police raided on the basis of information
Giving information, the police officer said that one quintal of beef was recovered from the smugglers’ car. He further informed that in the encounter a smuggler was shot by the police, who has been admitted to the hospital for treatment. Superintendent of Police (Rural) Suraj Rai said that on the information of the informer, the Qutubsher police nabbed three vicious miscreants- Nadeem, Ballu and Rihan after an encounter.
Seeing the police, the car accelerated
He said that when the police signaled the accused in the Santro to stop, they fired at the police team. The smugglers accelerated the car. Rai told that the police chased the miscreants and caught them, after which they got out of their car and ran towards the farm. He told that during this time there was an encounter between the police and the miscreants in the field, in which a bullet hit Nadeem’s leg and he was injured.
One quintal of meat recovered from the car
According to Rai, when the police searched the car of the miscreants, they found a quintal of beef and equipment for slaughter. Rai told that during the encounter three accomplices of the miscreants fled. He told that the police is on the lookout for the absconding cow smugglers.
