Gangajal scheme’s spout stolen in Gaya
Gangajal was inaugurated in every house in Gaya last Monday. Within a week of its inauguration, the spout disappeared from the Piau of Sita Kund. The spout was removed by the department or it was stolen by thieves. No one is saying anything about this. Sources say that the truth is that every house has not been given the connection of Ganga water. Only on the day of inauguration water was turned on in some houses. That too has been discontinued.
Departmental sources say that where the Chief Minister’s program was. Ganga water was supplied only in that area. That too has been closed as soon as the Chief Minister leaves. Because the work of the pump being laid for supply has not been completed. In view of the Chief Minister’s program, the connection of Ganga water was given in the garden including the Piau built in Sita Kund. The tap was started by the Chief Minister himself. But a few days after his departure, the tap was broken. Due to this the water supply is still closed.
The situation is that at present there is no supply of Ganges water in any area. Refusing to come in front of the camera, Ward No. 53 councilor Satyendra Kumar says that if the connection has not been given yet, then where will the water come from. On the other hand, Ward 51 councilor Manoj Kumar, who has deep influence in all political parties, is being given connections for the supply of Ganga water. After this green supply will start. Jal Sansthan official Ajit Kumar says that some technical problems are coming due to which the supply of Ganga water has not been started in all the houses.
