CCTV footage of theft in temple goes viral
Miscreants stole property worth two lakh rupees last night from the ancient Mata Mahakali temple under Hilsa town of Nalanda district. The custodian of the temple, Surendra Prasad, told that apart from the gold tongue, three pieces of arms, three pairs of silver anklets, silver bowl and glass, the money kept in the donation box and dozens of precious rings were stolen from the statue of Maa Kali. .

The incident of theft took place in the ancient Mata Mahakali temple located on the main road, just a short distance from the police station. Hilsa police station chief said that the act of thieves has been captured in CCTV. Based on the footage, the police have started looking for the miscreants. An application has been given against the unknown in the police station by the chief custodian of the temple, Surendra Prasad.
