ADG JS Gangwar organized a press conference at the Police Headquarters in Patna. Gangwar presented the account of police action in many criminal cases across Bihar. Along with this, Gangwar also appreciated the works of STF.

The first case is of Kharib police station of Navagachia. Here in 14 cases, the wanted criminal Mausam Yadav was arrested by the police after running. In this case, the police got information that the notorious criminal is hiding in his village. Police formed a team and arrested Mausam Yadav. Together the police recovered a pistol and 6 bullets.

In the second case, in Sonvarsha police station of Saharsa, the police arrested Mukesh, a top 10 criminal of Saharsa district during night patrol. He was wanted in seven serious cases. A pistol, a magazine and a motorcycle were recovered from it.

In the third case, Rakesh Kumar Mishra of Manigachi police station of Darbhanga district has been arrested by the police for threatening to blow up the hospital of Ambani group.

The fourth case is of Gaurichak police station. In which 3 criminals shot and injured the truck driver of Uttar Pradesh from near Hotel Golu under Gaurichak police station and looted. Taking immediate action, the police identified the criminals and arrested them from Azim Chak. Two automatic pistols, 5 bullets and a motorcycle were recovered from his possession.

The fifth case was of Lakhisarai, where a 7-year-old girl was raped under Virpur police station. In this, the police first registered a case under the PokeSho Act. And after taking prompt action, the accused was arrested and sent to jail.

ADG Headquarters JS Gangwar presented an account of the recent works of STF of Bihar. Gangwar told that the STF was formed in the year 2000 itself for the resolution of serious cases.

STF has arrested a total of 38 most wanted criminals in the month of September. In which a Naxalite Gopal Das, who was a rewarded criminal of one lakh, has been arrested. Similarly, Maruti Nandan alias Guddan Jha, a rewarder of 50 thousand rupees, has been arrested from Begusarai. STF arrested Ramlochan, a rewarded criminal of 50 thousand from Phulparash police station in Madhubani district and sent him to jail.
