The incident took place at SBI Bank main branch located at Chandni Chowk, District Headquarters. Sources said that the victim, Ramchandra Kewat, a resident of Asthama Beldariya of Chewada block, told that he had gone to the bank to deposit Rs 30,000. Money was kept in a plastic bag and they were standing in a queue outside the counter to deposit money. Then the assailants who were ambushed very cleanly cut his bag and took out ₹ 30000. When he reached near the counter window to deposit the money, all the money was found missing from his bag.

Despite a lot of searching, nothing was found. After cutting the bag and withdrawing the money, he also informed the local bank employees and also told the bank manager. But no help was given by the bank in this matter. Police has started investigating the matter. On the other hand, the victim told that he could not even realize the bite of the bag. were in line.
