On Friday night in Nalanda, unknown thieves entered a house and committed theft. The matter is of Ashanagar locality of Sohsarai police station area. The theft incident took place in Jitendra Kumar’s house.

A woman from the victim’s house told that everyone had gone to sleep at around 1:30 last night. Then unknown thieves entered the house and committed theft. The miscreants have stolen about 80 thousand rupees, a gold locket, mangalsutra and a locket around the neck of a child from the purse kept inside the storewell.

The miscreants were so clever that the members of the house sleeping did not notice the theft. The miscreants entered the house through the roof and committed theft. The incident came to light on Saturday morning. When the people of the house woke up from sleep, the door of the storewell was open. All the stuff inside it was scattered here and there.

Homeowner Jitendra Kumar is working as a driver in Indian Railways. After this incident, the victim informed the local police station about the theft in the house.

Sohsarai police station incharge Rajmani said that the case appears to be suspicious. The incident was carried out by an acquaintance. At present the application has not been received from the aggrieved party. The police have started investigating the entire matter.
