The fair did not gather even at night due to rain in Bhagalpur: Where there was to be a crowd of lakhs, only a few people were seen on the streets

Due to rain on the day of Navratri in Bhagalpur, the fair remained frozen even in the evening. After the rain all day, people were left hoping that in the evening, as soon as the rain left, they would go on a walk to the fair. But on Tuesday it rained continuously since morning. The rain continued throughout the day. Alam was that on the Navami night of Navratri, there was silence in the entire Bhagalpur city. Where there was going to be a crowd of lakhs on the roads, only a few people are seen on the roads.

Dainik Bhaskar took stock of the city after 8 o’clock in the night when the rain slowed down. Where it started from Tilkamanjhi Chowk of the city. There were breakfast corners on many footpaths around Tilkamanjhi Chowk. Where all the chairs seemed empty at once. Just ahead of it, there was a movement of some people coming and going at Kachari Chowk. But there was no such thing as a fair. Similarly, there was silence in all the areas of the city like Ghantaghar Chowk, Adampur Chowk, Tatarpur Chowk. However, there was a clash of some people in the pandal built in Marwari Pathshala. There were some fair-going devotees who had arrived there.

However, even then, thousands of devotees could not go out to visit the fair on the day of Navami. Incessant rain spoiled the fun of visiting their fair.
