The enthusiasm of Chhath festival in Bettiah: 8 lakh Chhathvrati women offered Arghya to the setting sun at 2,500 ghats

The great festival of worship of Lord Surya is being celebrated with great enthusiasm in Bettiah on the third day of Chhath Puja. Chhath Puja is celebrated everywhere. A view showing some similar faith was seen in Bettiah on Sunday, the third day of Chhath festival. 8 lakh women are performing Chhath Puja at 2500 ghats of the district including Sant Ghat, Sagar Pokhara, Uttarwari Pokhara, Bus Stand, Khidiya Ghat, Haridwar Ka Ghat in the city.

Let us tell you that on all these ghats, Chhath fasting women stand in the water and offer Arghya to the setting sun. Also wished son and husband long life. Now women will break the fast by offering Arghya to Lord Surya on Arunodaya early on Thursday.

Mothers fast for the long life of their sons
