In Jamui, 36 buses used to run in the government bus stand of the district 15 years ago. It is said that passengers from many districts including West Bengal, Jharkhand, Begusarai, Patna, Munger, Nawada, Rajgir used to get facilities from the government bus depot. But now except four buses, all the buses have been converted into junk food. But the Bihar State Road Transport Corporation Department is not paying attention to this. It is said that for 36 buses, a petrol pump was installed by the district administration in the bus stand itself.
It used to fill fuel in all the vehicles. But today its condition is dilapidated. Which was auctioned and sold to the junkers. DS Virendra Singh of Bihar State Road Transport Corporation said that 15 years ago from today, in the government bus stand, in many states including Bihar, Jharkhand, passengers were transported by buses and there was a fair-like view. But say the apathy of Bihar State Road Transport Corporation or something, now this bus depot has completely turned into ruins.
There are only four buses in which two go to Patna, while one goes to Chakai and the fourth to Munger. 15 years ago this depot used to have hundreds of employees. But now only 11 number of employees are working. Those who have not even received their salary for several months. Also told that the same is the condition of other government bus depots including Chakai, Sikandra. Where due to the apathy of the state government, now this bus depot is turning into an old ruin.
