Hardik Pandya, the best all-rounder of the Indian cricket team, may get a new message of new responsibility on Tuesday. On behalf of BCCI, he can announce that he will be made the captain of the Indian T20I team.

According to sources, Hardik Pandya can be made the captain of T20I Team India in place of Rohit Sharma. And, his captaincy will last for at least the ICC T20 World Cup, 2024. A BCCI source said that Hardik Pandya has every chance of promotion and apart from Rohit Sharma in the current T20I Team India, many more players are less likely to stay till 2024.

It is noteworthy that injured Rohit Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah and Ravindra Jadeja may not be able to play for the upcoming recent T20I series, but they will return in the ODI series against Sri Lanka (SRL vs IND Series, 2023). Virat Kohli and KL Rahul also hardly play in Sri Lanka vs India T20I Series, 2023. Sanju Samson and Ishan Kishan can be taken in place of Rishabh Pant in this series.
