TCS Chief Human Resource Officer Milind Lakkad explained this in detail in an interview to Moneycontrol. He said that this sector suffered a lot during the Corona period, but now the industry is coming out of it. Because of this, the demand for qualified employees is increasing rapidly.
According to Lakkar, many companies are offering two to three times the package to the employees. Due to this there is disparity in the salary of the employees. In view of this, he is working for the betterment of the employees.
He said the last two years had been difficult. Many people left the company after getting higher salary, while some stayed. He hired many people, but his increment was less, so now he is planning to compensate the loss to the employees.
At the same time, the phase of leaving the employees in TCS is still going on. To prevent this, the company is taking big steps. Under this, hiring is being done, as well as employees are being given a chance to double their salary. According to Lakkar, the plan to give 100 percent quarterly variable pay to junior level employees is underway.
On the increment happening every year, he said that the company has given 12-15 percent, 8 percent, 5 percent and 1.5 percent increment.
