Australia vs Afghanistan T20 World Cup 2022: Australia defeated Afghanistan by 4 runs in a thrilling match played in Adelaide. Adam Zampa bowled brilliantly in this match. While Maxwell was adjudged the player of the match. Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Usman Ghani came to open for the Afghanistan team, chasing the target of 168 runs given by Australia. Gurbaz played a stormy innings of 30 runs. He hit 2 fours and 2 sixes in 17 balls. While Ibrahim Zadran scored 26 runs off 33 balls. Gulabdin Naib also scored 39 runs off 23 balls. But captain Mohammad Nabi could not do much. He got out after scoring just 1 run.
Josh Hazlewood took 2 wickets for the Kangaroo team. He conceded 33 runs in 4 overs. But Adam Zampa once again bowled brilliantly. He took 2 wickets for 22 runs in 4 overs. Kane Richardson took 1 wicket for 48 runs in 4 overs.
