BeirutOn Thursday, 18 soldiers were killed and 27 others were injured in an explosion near an army bus in Syria. The Syrian state media has given this news citing military sources. In past years, there have been attacks in government-controlled parts of the war-ravaged country in which dozens of soldiers have been killed and many others injured.
Such bus attacks are also increasing in Damascus, Syria. No organization has yet claimed responsibility for today’s attack. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights confirmed that 17 soldiers were killed in the latest attack.

Not only this, in the month of September, there was also a rocket attack on the Green Village base of the US Army in Northeast Syria. However, the attack was not successful and there was no damage to US or coalition troops and equipment. Following this, the US command issued a statement saying that the attack was carried out by three 107-mm (4.2-inch) rockets. A fourth rocket with a rocket tube was found at the launch point about five kilometers away.
Islamic State terrorists killed
At the same time, on October 6, a major Islamic State (ISIS) terrorist was killed in an American helicopter attack on a government-held village in the northeast of Syria. While two more Islamic State terrorists were killed in a separate attack.
12 soldiers were killed in March
It should be noted that last March, terrorists attacked an army bus in Palmyra, central Syria. 13 army soldiers were killed and 18 others were injured in the attack. The administration has in the past blamed Islamic State, which is active in south and central Syria, for such attacks.
