Dubai: India’s middle-order batsman Suryakumar Yadav, who performed brilliantly in the T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia, has retained the top spot in the ICC T20 Batsmen rankings. Suryakumar became the number one batsman in the Super 12 stage of the T20 World Cup with three fifties in five innings.

This gave him a career best 869 rating points. Being dismissed for 14 in the semi-final against England saw it drop ten points but retain top spot. Surya hit 189. Scored 239 runs at a strike rate of 68 and stood third in the list of batsmen scoring the most runs.
