Speeding vehicle runs over two children in Patna: One killed, another injured; Both were going to coaching; Angry people blocked the road

An unknown vehicle crushed two students going to coaching in Patna’s Bihta on Friday. In this accident, one youth died on the spot while the other was badly injured. As soon as the information of the incident was received, there was an atmosphere of chaos. Local villagers reached the spot and protested fiercely by jamming the Patna Bihta road.

Information about the incident is received, the police of Bihta police station reached the spot and tried to pacify the people, but despite a lot of effort, people were not ready to move from the road. Later, by convincing the people, the police somehow got the road started smoothly.

It is being told about the incident that Sunny Kumar alias Suraj, son of Shamsher Yadav, resident of Kali Ganj village, was going to coaching on Friday with his friend Govind Kumar. In this sequence, a vehicle coming at a high speed crushed both the cyclists. In this accident, Kali Ganj resident Sunny Kumar died on the spot while Govind Kumar was badly injured.

On getting information about the incident, angry people blocked the Bihta-Lain main road by keeping the dead body in the middle of the road and started demanding compensation. Here, after getting information about the incident, the local police station chief and the circle officer reached the spot with the force, where after a lot of effort, people removed the road blockade after getting the assurance of compensation.

On the other hand, Bihta police station chief Sanovar Khan said that a school student was run over by an unknown truck near Kaligaj village. In which one died while the other was injured. People had blocked the road demanding compensation. Later, the police took the dead body into custody and sent it to the sub-divisional hospital Danapur for postmortem.
