A bribery assistant engineer has been caught by the Special Monitoring Unit (SVU) in Jehanabad. The Special Monitoring Unit appointed Assistant Engineer Mohd. Abdul Rakib has been arrested red handed taking a bribe of 50 thousand rupees. The matter is of the old police station of the city police station area where Assistant Engineer Mohd. Abdul Rakib had demanded a bribe of Rs 50 thousand from the contractor Sunil Kumar of Bihar Police Building Construction Limited in lieu of passing the pending bill of Rs 24 lakh 15 thousand. Today, the team of Special Monitoring Unit has arrested the Assistant Engineer red handed while taking 50 thousand bribe.
It is said that Sunil Kumar, the sensor of Bihar Police Building Construction Limited, had complained about this in the office of the Special Monitoring Unit. After which ADG of Special Surveillance Unit (SVU) Nayyar Hasnain Khan took the matter seriously and an investigation team was formed.
The team of Special Surveillance Unit under the leadership of DSP Bhushan Mandal reached Jehanabad today. Where, taking a bribe of 50 thousand rupees, Assistant Engineer Mohd Abdul Rakib was arrested red handed. Has gone to Patna with the arrested engineer.
