Ram Prasad Mishra alias Ramu Mishra was murdered while sleeping in cattle shed on the night of October 30 last in Gangauli Manda Ward No. 2 of Vibhutipur police station area of Samastipur district. Disclosing this matter, the police have arrested the son of the deceased. The arrested youth has confessed to killing his father.

Police Station President Sandeep Kumar Pal said that in the manual input of the police, the person responsible for the incident has turned out to be Mukesh Kumar, the elder son of the deceased Ramu. When the police interrogated him while arresting him, he accepted his involvement in the incident. A mutual quarrel was going on between the younger son and daughter-in-law of the deceased. For this reason, the younger daughter-in-law used to live in her house. For the last few months, the deceased Ram Prasad Mishra alias Ramu had decided to give equal property to the younger son-daughter-in-law for the purpose of establishing a house. Mukesh, the elder son of the deceased, felt bad on this, he was furious and he made a plan to kill his father. On the other hand, on the occasion of Chhath festival, he executed the incident at night. The information about the incident was received in the morning. On the basis of manual input, the police strictly interrogated the elder son of the deceased in custody, then he accepted his involvement in the incident. The police station chief said that Mukesh Kumar, the elder son of the deceased, was sent to judicial custody on charges of killing his father.
