Smuggler arrested with 470 kg of ganja in Lakhisarai: raid done on secret information, case registered against 4 smugglers

Lakhisarai police has taken major action on drug trade. Police has busted a big ganja smuggling racket. During this, the police have recovered a huge amount of ganja. A case has been registered against four smugglers. Police has arrested a ganja smuggler.

Giving information, Lakhisarai SP Pankaj Kumar said that Suryagadha police received information last night that a large quantity of ganja was kept hidden in W Yadav Yadav’s house and its adjoining house in Nista village. A team was constituted by SHO Suryagadha and raid was conducted. During the raid, 470 kg ganja in total 186 packets was recovered from the house of Dablu Yadav and main accused Dablu Yadav was arrested.

Lakhisarai SP said that a case has been registered against four accused in the case. He said that one of the four accused, Tarakeshwar, who had gone to jail a few months back in Agartala in a case related to NDPS, is running a ganja business in Lakhisarai. The recovery of such a huge quantity of ganja is the work of an organized gang. Raids are being conducted to arrest the absconding accused. All the police officers involved in the raid operation will be rewarded.
