Siwan’s Ankit topped in IISE: First place in the country in UPSC’s Indian Information Service examination, is a journalist by profession

 

Ankit Kumar topped the Indian Information Service exam.

Ankit Kumar, 30, a resident of Siwan, has secured the first rank in the country in the Indian Information Service (IIS) examination conducted by the UPSC. Ankim is a resident of Pachalkhi village under Nautan block. Ankit Kumar is a journalist by profession and has studied from IIMC.

Got success by scoring 76 marks

IISE result was declared on 13th July. Ankit has secured 76 marks out of total 100 marks. And with 75 marks, 8 students are on the second position. The whole family is happy with Ankit’s success. Mother Anjani Verma and father Atul Kumar have expressed their happiness.

I didn’t expect to top

Ankit’s parents said that the son’s hard work has paid off. Whereas Ankit has given the credit of this success to his parents along with wife Ritika and brother Akhil. Ankit said that I have got the opportunity to serve the country through the Indian Information Service. This is a very happy moment for me. My interview was good after clearing UPSC exam. For this reason, I was hopeful that I would get success in this competition of Indian Information Service, but I did not think that I would top. After the result came, I came to know that I have secured first position.

Please tell that Ankit has completed his early studies from the high school of his village Pachalkhi. After 10th examination passed intermediate examination from DAV College, Siwan. After this, he was selected in the Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC), from where he completed his graduation in journalism. After successful in the examination of the Indian Information Service, Ankit’s post will be established in various units under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
