On Thursday, DM Sawan Kumar along with other officials and agricultural workers reached Bhadauns village of remote Ghat Kusumbha block for crop cutting of paddy. Walking on the footpaths of DM Baghar reached the paddy field. Where, under the aegis of the District Statistics Department, the progressive farmer of the village, Brajesh Sharma, father late Ramnaresh Singh, harvested the paddy crop of Mugdha variety. A large number of farmers including District Statistics Officer Satish Kumar, BDO Ejaz Alam, BAO Rampravesh Kumar, Agriculture Coordinator Prem Prakash, Farmer Advisor Motilal, Chief Punjabi Thakur, Sarpanch Bhola Sah, PACS President Rajesh Kumar were present on this occasion.
Paddy harvesting work was started with Vedic chanting and worship recitation. The ripe crop of paddy planted in the field was done in a radius of 10 x 5 meters. After the harvest of the crop, it was also used on the spot. After rosemary, the weight of paddy grains was 45.140 kg on weighing.
In this regard, the District Statistics Officer said that crop cutting of paddy crop has been done in the district in the light of the instructions of the state headquarters. He said that after drying the paddy grains after the next ten days, the report will be sent to the government after weighing it again.
