The police is not allowing UP paddy to enter Haryana. Due to this, more than ten km lines of truck and tractor trolleys are visible in the border of Shamli on the Bidoli bridge on the Yamuna river on the Meerut-Karnal road. Angry farmers on Friday stopped the entire traffic due to non-availability of paddy and the farmers’ dharna continued here for the second day as well.
The case of Haryana Police assaulting the farmers of village Dokpura and stopping the paddy going from UP to Haryana has gained momentum. From Thursday morning, the workers of the Bharatiya Kisan Union started a sit-in on the Biroli bridge on the Meerut-Karnal highway, which continued on Friday. Due to this, the vehicles are stuck in the jam for two days and their drivers are also facing problem for food. Traffic has been completely affected due to the standing of trucks on both sides of the road at many places on the Meerut-Karnal road.
Warned to block other bridges too

He said that farmers are taking paddy to Haryana from bridges like Panipat, Yamunanagar etc. So what is the objection of Karnal administration if it is taken from Biroli bridge.
