More than 10 lakh devotees offered Arghya to the setting sun

On Sunday, crowds of devotees started pouring in to offer Arghya at Dev Suryakund pond of Aurangabad from around 11 o’clock. Although Arghya is offered in the evening before the sun sets, but devotees do not wait for it at the Dev Suryakund pond.

Because if the devotees wait to offer Arghya in the evening, devotees will not be able to offer Arghya. That’s why devotees start offering Arghya here from 11 am. which continues uninterruptedly. Devotees keep offering Arghya from night till morning.

Extensive arrangements shown regarding security

Elaborate security arrangements were seen in Dev Mela. The magistrates and police personnel were ready to serve the devotees and devotees. Along with this, scout guides and NCC cadets also continued to help the devotees in the Suryakund pond and on the way to and from the lake.
