As soon as the winter season starts in Gopalganj, Nepali citizens selling herbs from the neighboring country Nepal have started coming to Gopalganj. The mountain herbs being sold by Nepali citizens are in great demand in Bihar, most of the people buy and consume many mountain medicines and herbs including asafoetida, shilajit. On the other hand, Nepali citizens are seen selling it in large numbers every year in the winter season by reaching various places in Bihar including Gopalganj.

Actually once again the winter season has started and Nepali citizens have started reaching Gopalganj. A large number of Nepali citizens, who reached Gopalganj in several groups, have landed in the markets with different types of medicinal materials including Shilajit, Asafoetida, Pahadi Dhaniya, Nepali Bhiksa, which comes from the mountains of Nepal. The people of the district are seen doing a lot of shopping with the Nepali citizens. Teams of Nepali citizens reach different areas of the district and earn a good income by selling many types of herbs including asafoetida, shilajit, coriander. Although Nepali citizens could not do their business in the district for the last two years due to Corona, but once again after recovering from the Corona period, the citizens of neighboring country Nepal continue to come.
