There is relief news for the teachers, employees and pensioners of the state universities. The government has released the amount for their salary, pension, arrears and terminal benefits. Its letter has been issued by the Director of Higher Education, Education Department, Rekha Kumari.

The amount has been released till February 2023. Out of this, the payment will be for three months August, September and October. The salary has been increased by 3 percent DA. DA is now 34 percent instead of 31.

But like this time in the past, Diwali and Dussehra passed without salary and pension, despite the allocation, Chhath is also expected to pass without salary and pension. The reason is that the allocation has been made but the amount has not been made available to the Treasury. University holidays are on.

Even if the university has completed the process of payment from its level, then the chances of getting the amount in the treasury, getting the claim from the university and then sending the amount to the account of teachers, employees and pensioners by Saturday is less.

The payment of salary and pension in the university was done till July. The payment could not be done in August, whereas the government had stopped the September payment of the university across the state due to the inclusion of the names of 90 employees of the fourth phase colleges in TMBU, whose names were asked to be discharged by the government.
