Saharsa’s daughter hoisted the tricolor at Mount Everest Base Camp
The Kosi region of Saharsa is full of prosperity and knowledge. Where one by one celebrities have made the name of Saharsa and Kosi known to the country and the world. In this episode, Lakshmi Jha, daughter of Bangaon in the district, has set a new record. He hoisted the tricolor flag by reaching Kala Patthar Peak and Mount Everest Base Camp in Nepal in just a span of 9 days. After which she has become the first daughter of Bihar to reach Everest. Due to which the name of the district has been illuminated. He got this success after a lot of struggle. His mother Sarita Devi has been very supportive in getting him to this point. Whose inspiration became his assistant in conquering Everest.
Please tell that Lakshmi Jha, the youngest of the four children of late Vinod Jha and Sarita Devi, a resident of Bangaon in Saharsa district, was young. At the same time his father passed away. Due to no support of daily bread, his mother kept pulling the family’s car by taking care of the stove in many houses of the village itself. Along with this, she also took care of all the four children. Lakshmi grew up with her two elder brothers and a sister. Elder brother Shyam Jha opened a book shop in the village itself. From there, younger brother Ganesh Jha continued his studies and is also helping in his elder brother’s shop. Same Lakshmi’s elder sister Shashitara got married and she went to her in-laws house.
In such a situation, he passed the BA examination in Lakshmi after matriculation and intermediate. Then after passing the Group D exam, she became an assistant employee in the Secretariat located in Patna. In the year 2019, he got a job in the secretariat. From where he stepped towards his dream of climbing Everest. After which there was a change in his life. He was enrolled in the Nehru Institute of Mountaineering, Uttarakhand. Where he met DSP Anita Kundun currently posted in Haryana. With whose help and guidance she kept moving forward. After which she completed the climb of Kala Patthar Peak and Mount Everest Base Camp in Nepal. However, she has not reached the summit of Everest. Since going to the summit of Everest requires rigorous practice with an expenditure of 40 to 45 lakh rupees. At present, she is unable to feel safe in both the situations. However, his wish is to hoist the Indian flag on the summit of Everest. For which they will continue their efforts even further.
