New Delhi: Young South African batsman Dewald Brevis, popularly known as ‘Baby AB’ in the cricket world, has made a stormy debut in the South Africa 20 League. Dewald Brewis is playing for MI Cape Town vs Paarl Royals in South Africa 20 League. He won everyone’s heart by playing a brilliant inning in his very first match. Brewis’ brilliant innings helped MI Cape Town beat the Paarl Royals team captained by David Miller.

Batting first, Paarl Royals set MI Cape Town a target of 143 runs. The MI Cape Town team, captained by Rashid Khan, was given a strong start by Brewis and Ryan Rickelton. Both laid the foundation for the team’s victory by adding 90 runs in 10.1 overs. Brewis scored an unbeaten 70 off 41 balls which included 4 fours and 5 sixes. On the other hand, Ryan got out after scoring 42 runs in 33 balls. MI Cape Town won the match by 8 wickets with 27 balls to spare on the basis of Brewis’ stormy innings.
