New Delhi: India Legends has once again won the title of Road Safety World Series by winning the title match of 2022. In the final match on Saturday night, India Legends faced Sri Lanka Legends. After which India Legends beat Sri Lanka by 33 runs. Naman Ojha also scored a scintillating century for India Legends and was also adjudged ‘Player of the Match’.
The title of the first season of the Road Safety World Series was also captured by India Legends. After which now in the second season once again India Legends has defended the title and won it. Batting first, India Legends scored a mountain-like score of 195 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs.

In his innings, Naman Ojha scored 108 runs off 71 balls. He stood on one end from start to finish. However, captain Sachin Tendulkar (0), Suresh Raina (4), Yusuf Pathan (0) were dismissed only. While Vinay Kumar (36), Yuvraj Singh (19) and Irfan Pathan (11) supported Naman Ojha by playing small innings. On the other hand, Nuwan Kulasekara took three wickets, Udana two and Ishan Jayaratne took one wicket for Sri Lanka.
After this, while chasing the target of 196 runs, the wickets of Sri Lanka Legends kept falling from the beginning. Dilshan Munaveera (8), Sanath Jayasuriya (5), Tillakaratne Dilshan (11) scored runs and returned to the pavilion. The lone Ishan Jayaratne scored 51 runs off 22 balls to save his team from a huge defeat. The entire Lankan team was bundled out for 162 runs in 18.5 overs. During this, Vinay Kumar took three wickets for India Legends, Abhimanyu Mithun took two and the rest of the bowlers took one wicket each.
