Road accident in Nalanda, one dead

One person died in a truck collision in Nalanda late on Wednesday evening. The matter is near Kargil Chowk of Deepnagar police station area. The deceased has been identified as Satyawan Prakash, the (56) year old son of Late Hori Mahto, resident of Rana Bigha village in the police station area.

The relatives of the deceased told that Satyavan Prakash was going home on foot after closing his farmer’s medical shop at Ramchandra Pur. Then the uncontrolled truck crushed them near Kargil Chowk of Dipnagar police station area and the driver fled with the vehicle from the spot. Local people rushed the injured to Sadar Hospital for treatment. Where the doctor declared him dead.

After the confirmation of the death, there was a furore among the family members. The hospital premises became inconsolable due to the cries of the family members.

In this context, Deepnagar Police Station President Sunil Kumar Jaiswal said that the police has started action by registering a case against an unknown vehicle. The process of conducting post-mortem is being done by taking the dead body in possession. The businessman was going to his house on foot. Then the unknown vehicle crushed him.
