Road accident in Jamui: A speeding pickup vehicle hit a bike rider, he died on the way to the hospital

A speeding pickup hit an old man riding a bike near the cemetery located at Gangra turn of Gidhaur-Jhajha main road. He died on the way while coming to the hospital. The deceased has been identified as Sadanand Jha, a 65-year-old resident of Mora village in Gidhaur block.

Sadanand Jha was going towards Jhajha in connection with his personal work from his bike on Thursday afternoon. As soon as his bike reached near Gangra Kabristan turn of Gidhaur-Jhajha main road. Then the high speed pickup coming from Jhajha hit his bike hard.

The old man was seriously injured in this. The injured was brought to Sadar Hospital for treatment. Where the old man was declared dead after investigation by Dr. Arvind Kumar. After the incident, the angry people caught hold of the pickup vehicle and handed it over to the police of Gidhaur police station. After getting information about the incident, Police Station President Brij Bhushan Singh got involved in the investigation of the whole matter.
