Road accident in Begusarai, 6 injured

Half a dozen people were crushed by an uncontrolled bus late Thursday evening on NH 31 in Begusarai, the crowd going to Matkor before the marriage of the girl. Due to which a stampede-like situation happened on the spot. Half a dozen people have been injured in this accident. People hastily admitted the injured to the nearby private hospital for treatment. The incident took place on NH 31 near Baridani Durga Sthan of Nagar police station area. It is being told that the daughter of Ashok Nagar Pokharia resident Jagdish Paswan was about to get married on Thursday night.

Regarding this, the relatives and people of the locality were passing through NH near Baridani Durga Sthan to perform Matkor including about 60 women and men and children. Everyone was dancing to the tunes of the DJ and celebrating. That’s why the bus coming from Khatopur went uncontrolled and crushed the crowd. On the spot, the local people caught the bus and its conductor, the police took the conductor into custody and seized the bus. During this, the angry people ransacked the bus and also broke the glass of the bus.

It is being told that in this accident, 17-year-old son of Mahipal Paswan, a resident of Ashok Nagar Pokharia, Kamal Nayan, a BSC student, has broken his right leg and has a fracture in his head. While Mahendra Paswan’s wife Shyamal Devi’s leg was broken, Raghuveer Paswan’s 10-year-old daughter Mithi Kumari was hit on the head. In the same injured, about half a dozen other people including girl, woman and youth are included. After this incident, the happiness of the people turned into mourning at the place where the wedding ceremony was held. However, people have heaved a sigh of relief as there was no casualty on the spot. After the incident, the police of Nagar police station is engaged in the investigation of the whole matter.
