    Recognition of Begusarai Ayurvedic College canceled: there will be no enrollment in 2021-22, instructions to remove shortcomings in the college by December

    Admission has been banned by the Health Department in Begusarai Ayurvedic College. Due to shortage of staff, teachers and not being able to complete the infrastructure, the National Commission for Medical System of India canceled the recognition of the session 2021-22 in Shivkumari Ayurvedic College, Lohianagar.

    Due to this, now new students will not be able to enroll in the college in the session 2021-22. However, the National Commission for Medical System of India has given time till December 31 and said that if the essential requirements are fulfilled in that time, then the recognition of the new session 2022-23 will be restored again. Let us inform that on the last 28 and 29 July, the team of the National Commission for Medical System of India had investigated the college online.

    In this, investigation was done on the infrastructure, staff, medical department of the college and other points. After which the department has issued the report. According to the report of the department, at present there is neither a doctor nor a single staff in five departments of Ayurvedic College. Whereas in many departments there is a shortage of professors to teach. Neither the laboratory is good nor the laboratory equipment is good.

    At present only 50 percent teachers are present in the college. While the number of Higher Faculty is 40 percent. Similarly, five departments are vacant. In which composition body, health and yoga, obstetrics and gynecology, surgical system department and Panchakarma department are included.

    Similarly, there is a shortage of professors in the medical department. Whereas there is a shortage of Higher Faculty in all the departments. There is a shortage of Sanskrit teacher to teach. Apart from this there is a dearth of Ayurveda embodied principles and yoga teacher. At the same time, the non-teaching staff is 64 percent.
