digital desk,Mumbai Actress Rakul Preet Singh has said that she had a plan B in case she did not succeed on the acting front. She was recently seen in the streaming film Chhatrivali and the Tamil-Telugu bilingual film Boo.
The actress was recently on an episode of the podcast The Habit Coach with Ashdine Doctor, where she talked about her Plan B.
She said: I was just 20 years old when I moved to Bombay. I am a graduate in Mathematics, so I told myself that I will try it (acting) for 2 years and if it doesn’t work, I will go back to my studies. That’s why I completed my graduation. I got my first film when I was in college.
He further said: But my attendance in the college got reduced, I said that I have to complete my college. I gave myself 2 years though so things worked out. But plan B was that I would do MBA in fashion. But, luckily I didn’t have to do that.
He also shared that discipline helped shape his career to a great extent. The actress comes from an army family, her father being an army officer. Therefore, discipline is naturally inculcated in their conduct.
He added: Whatever I have done, being a complete outsider, is the result of my discipline. When I started, I didn’t know how I was going to do it, or what the path was going to be, but I was disciplined.
I knew I had to work a lot. When I was not working, I was giving auditions. I had a time table even then. I have always believed that if you put in so many hours, nature will do it for you.
