    Rajnath Singh: The country’s Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will visit Kangra in Himachal Pradesh today and attend a ceremony to honor the families of soldiers who have sacrificed their lives in the service of the country. In a tweet on Sunday, he said, “Tomorrow on 26th September, I will be visiting Badoli, Kangra, Himachal Pradesh. Will join the felicitation ceremony of the families of our brave soldiers who have sacrificed their lives while serving the nation.”

    Will honor more than two thousand sacrificial families in the program

    As per the pre-determined schedule, the helicopter of the Union Minister will land at Amtar ground at Nadaun in district Hamirpur at 10.30 am on Monday, from where he will be taken to the venue after stopping at the rest house at Nadaun. The Defense Minister will honor more than two thousand martyr families across the state through the organizing committee. Bhaiyaji Joshi of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh will also be present in this program. Various types of exhibitions have been organized by the organizing committee. Lekh Raj Rana, convener of Amrit Mahotsav committee said that the committee has finalized the program. There will be a grand event.

    ‘Rs 85000 crore allocated for 2022-23’

    Earlier, at an event in Delhi, the Defense Minister said that a large part of our defense budget is kept for procurement from domestic vendors. 85000 crores allocated for 2022-23. A quarter of the Defense Research and Development budget was devoted to industries and research development. The way was paved for new defense technologies and innovations.

    ‘Indian Army has full confidence of self-defense today’

    Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said that the Indian Army has the ability to give a befitting reply to any force that looks at the country with an evil eye. Whenever our army was challenged by China, we answered them in their own language. He said that when India conducted its first nuclear test in Rajasthan in 1998 under the then Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, the idea was not to use a weapon against a country, but to maintain a deterrent. The Indian Army today has full confidence in self-defense. Today in 2022 when India’s army joins with China, it does so equally.
