Rajasthan News: Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said that good education is the foundation of a better future. ‘Ek Pahal India’ program started by Rajiv Gandhi Welfare Society will prove to be revolutionary for competitive examinees. He said that the participation of institutions with the state government for free coaching would provide better opportunities for higher education to the youth. The state government is taking decisions with full responsibility to pave the way for the youth. CM Gehlot was addressing the inauguration ceremony of free satellite classes by Rajiv Gandhi Welfare Society at Administrative Service Pre-Entry Training Center of University of Rajasthan through video conference on Sunday. He said that the future of the state lies on the youth. That’s why the state government is working with commitment in the all-round development of the youth. Under Chief Minister Anuprati Coaching Scheme, free coaching to 30 thousand youths, free higher education opportunities are being provided abroad to 500 students under Rajiv Gandhi Scholarship for Academic Excellence. This will increase the confidence of the students. When they come after studying abroad and get a job, they will prove to be the best human resource of the state.
Dimensions established in the education sector
The Chief Minister said that the situation in Rajasthan is no longer the same as before. Now all-round development is taking place in every field including education. In the year 1998, when he became the Chief Minister for the first time. At that time there were only 6 universities. Now there are 91. During this tenure itself, 303 colleges have been started. There are about 130 girls colleges in these. There is enthusiasm across the state regarding Mahatma Gandhi government English schools. In this budget, it has been announced to open one thousand schools each in rural and urban areas. A digital library is being prepared in every block. A major decision has been taken to start schools up to class 12th at the Gram Panchayat level. Due to this the students of the villages will not have to go outside. Players are encouraged by out-of-turn appointments and startups with schemes.
Smartphones will be given from Rakshabandhan
CM Gehlot said that in the first phase, smartphones will be distributed to 40 lakh women from Rakshabandhan festival. He said that under the Udaan scheme, 12 sanitary napkins are being distributed free of cost every month to women and adolescent girls. Ladies don’t hesitate.
Inflation relief camp from 24 April
Chief Minister Gehlot said that dearness relief camps would be organized from April 24. In these, benefits will be given to the common people by linking them with various public welfare schemes on the spot. He said that the state government is providing pension to about 1 crore people of the state under social security. It has now been reduced to a minimum of Rs 1000. The central government should also implement a uniform social security law in the whole country like the right to information, food, Mahatma Gandhi NREGA. This will provide security to the underprivileged.
Chief Minister’s appeal to the youth
CM Gehlot called upon the youth to publicize the public welfare schemes of the state. Cooperate in benefiting the underprivileged by connecting them with the schemes. He said that the students should move ahead by making social service a mission. Youth can make a special identity in the social sector through the Student Union. During this, the founder of the society, Dev Amit told that in our initiative, students will be prepared for competitive exams free of cost through satellite. Subject experts including IAS, RAS, professors will take classes in this. About 40 lakh students will be benefited in all state funded universities, government colleges and higher secondary schools. Will also distribute free books. In the ceremony, Public Health Engineering Minister Dr. Mahesh Joshi announced Rs. 21 lakh for development works in APTC and Rs. 21 lakh each for five new colleges from MLA fund. Rajiv Jain, Vice Chancellor of Rajasthan University also addressed. Bharatpur Mayor Abhijeet Kumar, Chief Government Secretary Bhawani Singh Detha along with public representatives, officers and a large number of students were present on this occasion.
