Due to the formation of a low pressure area in the Bay of Bengal, its effect is being seen in the form of rain in different parts of North India. In this episode, rain may start in Delhi-NCR from Thursday. Meteorologists say that there is a possibility of rain from this week to next week. In such a situation, there will be a continuous decrease in the mercury and the knock of winter will start increasing.
The Meteorological Department had predicted light rain in different areas of Delhi on Wednesday. Though the clouds camped out intermittently, there was no record of rain. In the last 24 hours, the maximum temperature was 34 equal to the normal and the minimum temperature was 23.8 degrees Celsius, two more than the normal. The humidity level in the air was 57 to 93 percent.
According to meteorologists, due to the formation of a low pressure area in the Bay of Bengal and change in the direction of the wind, there is a possibility of rain in Delhi-NCR for the next five to six days. Due to this the mercury will also decrease.
The Meteorological Department has forecast that in the next 24 hours, cloudy sky with light rain may be recorded in some areas. The maximum temperature can be recorded up to 33 °C and the minimum temperature is 22 °C. The situation will be more or less the same on the next day also and the mercury can drop to 30 degree Celsius. At the same time, very light rain will continue from Saturday to next week. Due to this, the mercury is likely to be recorded up to 29 degree Celsius.
