Due to this there is a huge boom in Gandak. Regarding this, CM Nitish Kumar reached Valmikinagar Gandak barrage on Friday and inspected the rising water level. He also took stock of the flood situation by air.

    Here the Meteorological Department has once again expressed the possibility of heavy rains in 19 districts of the state. It includes Sitamarhi, Sheohar, Muzaffarpur, Vaishali, Samastipur, Darbhanga, Madhubani, Saharsa, Supaul, Madhepura, Araria, Purnia, Kishanganj, Saran, Siwan Gopalganj, East Champaran, West Champaran and Katihar. Let us tell you that the effect of post monsoon is still being seen across the state. At present, east and southeast winds are blowing in the state. Due to which the rain continues continuously in the state.

    The Gandak river is in spate after the water is released from the Gandak barrage.

    Today i.e. on October 8, there will be partly cloudy sky in many districts of Bihar. On October 9, there is a possibility of rain and thundershowers in many parts of the state. On October 10, 11 and 12, there is a possibility of thunderstorms in many districts of the state. On this day, the wind will blow at a speed of 8 kilometers per hour. On October 13 and 14, there is a possibility of light rain in many districts of the state. Meanwhile, the wind will blow at a speed of 6 kilometers per hour on this day.

    On Friday, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar inspected the Valmikinagar barrage.

    Gandak river in spate, alert in Gopalganj, CM Nitish took stock

    CM Nitish Kumar reached Valmikinagar Gandak barrage on Indo Nepal border yesterday i.e. Friday and inspected the rising water level there. He also took stock of the flood situation by air. Water Resources Minister Sanjay Jha was also present with the Chief Minister. Let us inform that 4 lakh 45 thousand cusecs of water was released by Gandak Barrage yesterday i.e. on Friday morning. After which a flood-like situation has arisen in the low-lying areas.

    CM gave guidelines to the officers.

    After inspecting, CM Nitish Kumar said that the water level of the river was increasing very fast for the last two consecutive days. But now the water level is slowly decreasing. If it increases again, then the guidelines have been given to them about what the officials will do in this situation.
