Muzaffarpur resident Kabadi Khana owner Manohar Sah, named accused in the case of theft of rail engine parts for months in Gadhara Rail Electric Loco Power Shed under East Central Railway Sonpur Division, surrendered before Railway Judicial Magistrate Barauni in Railway Court Barauni on Saturday. After surrender, he was sent to jail under the supervision of the police.

It may be known that a total of 16 diesel engines of Samastipur loco shed were standing on the railway line since last year in Rail Electric Loco Vidyut Loco Shed. Thieves had carried out the incident of theft of parts and other goods worth lakhs of rupees from the said diesel engine. Regarding the incident of theft, there was panic among the senior officials including the railway department. Earlier, six people have been arrested in this case. While the junk food owner surrendered. Let us tell you that the thieves broke into Gadhara Electric Locomotive Shed under Sonpur Division of East Central Railway and made huge profits by stealing rail parts from under the boundary and selling them till Muzaffarpur.

RPF from Muzaffarpur also recovered stolen rail parts worth lakhs of rupees during this period. In fact, the whole matter came to the fore when on November 7, during patrolling, the RPF arrested a thief red-handed with locomotive parts and a wrench from near the boundary wall of the electric locomotive shed. After this, the action of RPF went on from Begusarai to Muzaffarpur. In which a total of 7 arrests have been made so far. In this case, Muzaffarpur’s junkyard operator Manohar Shah, who bought railway parts, was the main named accused, on whose fear of fleeing to Nepal the RPF was sleeping, he surrendered himself in the Barauni Rail Court under the nose of the RPF.
