Raid in office-flat of former BCA convenor OP Tiwari: Delhi Police took action in Patna, case of blackmailing and extortion registered

Raids have been conducted at the premises of OP Tiwari, former convenor of a committee of Bihar Cricket Association (BCA). He has both an office and a flat in an apartment located in Loha Gali in Kadamkuan, Patna. The Delhi Police team searched both these places for about one and a half to two hours. Meanwhile, OP Tiwari was found absconding from his hideout. Only those who were found by the police team on the spot were questioned. Information was taken from him about OP Tiwari. However, no official statement has been given by the Delhi Police, led by an inspector, on Tuesday.

In fact, BCA President Rakesh Tiwari has lodged an FIR number 27/22 at the Parliament Police Station in Delhi. This case is about blackmailing and extortion. In this case, not only OP Tiwari, but some other people are also named. Since the registration of the case, the Delhi Police team was investigating the entire matter. After getting concrete evidence, the police team came from Delhi to Patna. The police of Kadamkuan police station has confirmed the raid that took place today. But, what happened to the team from Delhi in the meantime? Patna Police did not even answer this question.

The sexual abuse case was proved to be false
The connection of this matter is with BCA President Rakesh Tiwari. In 2021, Chitra Bora, who runs a sports management company, made serious allegations of sexual assault on Rakesh Tiwari in a large hotel room. Then the investigation started by registering a case against the President of BCA in the Parliament Police Station. However, after a few months of investigation, the case turned out to be fake. Based on the call details, tower location and evidence found during the investigation, the Delhi Police prepared its closure report and submitted it to the court. After which the fake case of sexual abuse was closed.

According to Rakesh Tiwari, OP Tiwari was the mastermind of this fake case. Only after this, he did a case of false implication, blackmailing and extortion against OP Tiwari, Chitra Bora and his brother. In this case, Delhi Police came to Patna today. According to Rakesh Tiwari, Chitra, along with his brother, OP Tiwari was also caught by the Gurugram police team with narcotics from a hotel.

It is also alleged that Chitra and her brothers trap new cricketers in their trap. In the name of moving forward, they cheat them of money. Rakesh Tiwari claims that Chitra Bora alone is chargesheeted in more than 13 cases of fraud and forgery.
