Pucca road, bridge missing on both sides of the river: Dozens of villages affected, students’ studies disrupted; If the government did not listen to the request, the villagers themselves made it

Aurangabad: Due to non-construction of a culvert in the Bhujwana of Jharhi river near Thavai village of Madanpur block, the villagers, fed up with the neglect of public representatives and government machinery, made their way by putting a home pipe. Due to non-construction of a culvert at this place, the traffic of dozens of villages is cut off from the block headquarters during the rainy season. Children are not able to go to school in the rainy month. Where under the leadership of social worker Ashok Yadav, a JCB was put in the home pipe and a piece of brick was made on it. Due to which now the children and the villagers of this area are able to move.

Villagers Ashok Yadav, Sanjay Singh, Pradeep Singh, Rakesh Kumar, Rahul Kumar, etc. told that they complained to the block officials about this problem many times and requested the leaders, but could not get anything except assurance. Children were having trouble going to school and villagers going to the block headquarters, so we thought of doing something ourselves and made a way for immediate traffic by putting a home pipe.

There is a paved road on both sides of the river but the culvert was not built

Please note that there is a paved road on both sides of the river. But due to non-construction of culverts, villagers and school children face difficulties in commuting. At the time of road construction, a new hope of development was awakened among the people. But due to non-construction of a habitable culvert, the said road is not only half incomplete but has become devoid of justification. Surprisingly, before the construction of the road, there was a fire to build a culvert on the said river. In the context of the construction of the culvert, the villagers have been getting only assurances from the regional MLAs as well as other public representatives among the departmental officials. Due to non-availability of bridge, villagers of dozens of villages including Bhaiyaram Bigha, Mahuava, Gogadi, Bardi, Narkapi, Ramdohar, Kanchanpur are facing problems for years.

Even after the end of the rain, the strong current continues to flow for two months.

Villagers told that keeping in view the complex problem, public representatives and officials should get the culvert constructed by issuing approval for the construction of a culvert in this river. Due to which the villagers do not have to face problems during the rainy season next year. The villagers have demanded from the District Magistrate for the construction of the culvert.
