Preparations for the famous Ugratara festival of Saharsa completed: Grand event will be held on November 4 and 5 after the Corona period, DM-SP took stock

District Magistrate Anand Sharma and SP Lipi Singh reached Mahishi on Thursday regarding Ugratara Mahotsav under Mahishi block of Saharsa district, where they took stock of Ugratara Mahotsav. Along with this, about the upcoming Ugra Tara Festival to be held on November 4 and 5, their officers were informed. Gave many instructions.

It should be known that every year Ugratara Mahotsav has been celebrated in Mahishi, but for the last two years Ugratara Mahotsav was not held regarding Corona. But this year, the District Magistrate has started all the preparations for this festival to be celebrated under better law and order and government guidance.

At the same time, regarding this matter, District Magistrate Anand Sharma said that preparations have been completed for the Ugratara festival. How will the pandal be made, from where will the artists come? Sharma told that this is the land of Mandan Mishra Vidya Bharati, the land of Mahishi scholar and here this time along with the local scholars, scholars from outside will also come and will be successful. While the program is very good considering the public here, different types of artists are being brought in from outside.

Several officers including DSP Ejaz Hafiz Mani, SDO Pradeep Jha, Circle Inspector Rajamani, Civil Surgeon Dr Kishore Kumar Madhup were also present along with the DM to take stock of the said program.
