Preparations for Mokama by-election completed by the administration: 32 people were arrested, weapons are being deposited

Preparations have been completed by Patna district administration for Mokama by-election. Patna SSP Manavjit Singh Dhillon gave complete information about the preparation of Mokama by-election. In this election, 289 booths have been set up in 175 buildings. The SSP said that 14 companies of central paramilitary forces have been allotted to Patna district, of which 8 have contributed. 6 companies will also contribute in a few days. Paramilitary forces will be deployed at all 289 booths.

The SSP said that raids and booth verification etc. are being done from these companies. Apart from this, patrolling party will be deployed at every two buildings. Sectors have been created on each of the five buildings. A zone has been created in every 5 sectors. In each zone, a magistrate and patrolling party will do intensive patrolling. Nine police stations are being deployed in this election, on whom the responsibility of QRT will be. The SSP said that in view of the possibility of disturbances in the election, 32 people have been harassed while taking a big action. Order for this has also been passed.

The SSP said that the weapons have been deposited. So far 8 weapons have also been deposited, those who have not deposited the weapons. The recommendation to cancel their license is being sent to the District Magistrate. Action has been taken against 2289 people on suspicion of somehow influencing the election.

The SSP said that four units of horsemen have been deployed for patrolling in the Tall area. He said that there is a flood situation in many areas of Tall, for this, boat patrolling will be done in the water area. Along with this, arrangement of tractor has also been made.
