In Bodh Gaya, the land of the knowledge of Lord Buddha, a great chivar was donated with special worship. Cheevers were donated to around 500 monks on the occasion. In the morning, the special puja in the sanctum sanctorum of the temple lasted till about ten o’clock and after a short interval, the ceremonial ceremony continued for about three hours.
Cheevardan ceremony was performed to Buddhist monks from different countries. Buddhist monks will wear the donated robe throughout the year and travel for meditation, meditation and almsgiving. Along with donning chevards, items of daily use were also presented to them. The monks and Buddhist guests who came to the ceremony were attended by BTMC secretary N Dorje.
After the end of three months of Varshavas, a large scale ceremony was organized in the Mahabodhi temple complex. More importantly, this program is being organized after almost two and a half years. Due to Corona, no function was being held in Bodh Gaya.
A large group of Laos devotees showed up at the ceremonial ceremony held under the sacred Bodhi tree. During this, Buddhist monks prayed for prosperity in the country and the world, an end to the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine and to keep the Mahabodhi temple from the eyes of terrorists.
After this ceremonial ceremony organized by BTMC, now ceremonial ceremonies from different countries will be organized in Bodh Gaya at a rapid pace. Which will continue till the next month. The chief priest of the Mahabodhi temple, Bhante Chalinda, said that in the worship, prayers were offered for peace and prosperity in the country and the world. In this worship, Bhante Manoj of BTMC, Bhante Dinanath and Bhantas of Buddhist monasteries of different countries participated.
