Municipal tankers are sprinkling water on various roads including Kachari Road, Nagar Thana, Nagar Palika Chowk, Kalisthan. Officials from the district level to the state level are worried about the increasing pollution in the city. State level officials are continuously meeting the District Officer through video conferencing and suggesting ways to reduce pollution. While the District Magistrate has also given several instructions including laying siege to the construction site in the district, checking the smoke emitting vehicles.

The increasing air pollution has a profound effect on the health of children. This pollution affects the health of young children more, pediatricians say that children have trouble breathing when the air quality index is high. Taking more polluted air in the form of breath causes lung, sinus and brain diseases in children. However, sprinkling of water on the road by the Municipal Corporation has raised hopes of controlling pollution. But till when it will be able to be controlled, it is not in the control of any officer to say.
